Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical system design for projects, ensuring energy-efficient solutions.
- Apply relevant codes and industry best practices to projects.
- Manage mechanical engineering efforts in collaboration with architects and contractors.
- Develop and review fee proposals with senior leadership.
- Perform site visits to oversee design implementation and troubleshoot.
- Support project management by monitoring budgets and schedules.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and building system design.
- Experience with aviation and/or healthcare projects.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and energy modeling software.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel locally for site visits and client meetings.
