Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of portable roll-forming machines.
- Manage all aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Create and process engineering documents such as drawings and change notices.
- Debug, test, and document prototype equipment and tooling.
- Support manufacturing with questions related to assembly and testing.
- Evaluate designs of other engineering team members and provide feedback.
- Attend trade shows to gain industry knowledge and represent the company.
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and machine design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred).
- Knowledge of engineering principles and machining practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, and planning skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, physical, drug screen, and E-verify required.
