Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design and sustainment efforts for 3D printing projects.
- Generate concepts and designs using CAD tools.
- Conduct analysis, prototyping, and test/verification of mechanical products.
- Transition designs to manufacturing partners.
- Mentor junior engineers and consultants.
- Identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineers.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing complex electromechanical products.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering; Master’s preferred.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
- Strong background in machine design, kinematic analysis, and design for manufacturing.
- Familiarity with numerical modeling and analysis tools.
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage schedules and budgets effectively.
