Responsibilities
- Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to products.
- Collaborate with design engineers to optimize manufacturability.
- Process and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Plan and design manufacturing and assembly processes for new products.
- Develop production tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
- Write assembly instructions and manufacturing travelers.
- Provide hands-on support in setting up new product lines.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (minimum GPA 3.3).
- U.S. Citizenship (due to ITAR requirements).
- 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Strong background in Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drawing creation.
- Knowledge of production tooling/fixtures design is preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and GD&T.
