Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with assigned suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Assess supplier capability through site visits and process audits.
- Qualify processes with suppliers and engineering teams.
- Lead supplier risk management in new product development teams.
- Review and approve product and process change control documentation.
- Participate in quality planning for complex components and assemblies.
- Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical assembly and testing methods.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Six Sigma, Lean, and ASQ Certification preferred.
- Experience transitioning from prototype to volume production.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools and Product Lifecycle Management systems.
