Senior Mechanical Engineer - Continuous Improvement

The role involves redesigning parts, components, and subsystems to address mechanical field failures specifically for Linear Generators. The candidate will utilize field data to diagnose issues and improve designs.

• Address critical mechanical field failures for the Linear Generator using field data.
• Interface with manufacturing and supply chain teams to resolve production issues.
• Create and manage internal improvement systems to reduce future failures.
• Work with reliability and test teams to validate systems and components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy designs into production.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Extensive experience in data-driven root cause analysis.
• Experience solving failures in system-level designs.
• Expert knowledge of tolerance stack-ups and manufacturing methods.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or a comparable CAD package.
