Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize mechanical components and subsystems for cost reduction and performance improvement.
- Gain hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and debugging in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Involve in design and analysis for mechanical components and electromechanical systems.
- Conduct data collection, analysis, and testing to validate system performance.
- Support the engineering team in identifying and resolving technical challenges.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in the last 2 years of a BS or MS program in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous internship experience in product design or manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience with mechanical design, fabrication, testing, and debugging.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of materials, fluid/thermal systems, and FEA analysis is beneficial.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in working in a manufacturing environment and on full-size products.
