Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for advanced semiconductor equipment development.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of engineers and process scientists.
- Oversee the design, development, and qualification of complex manufacturing equipment for optical waveguides.
- Manage operational aspects of the equipment manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with process development teams for seamless equipment integration.
- Drive continuous improvement and invention of proprietary equipment solutions.
- Establish project management practices, budget controls, and safety protocols.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years in the semiconductor capital equipment industry, with 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep technical expertise in design and deployment of manufacturing equipment for wafer processing.
- Proven track record of transitioning R&D concepts to high-volume manufacturing readiness.
- Strong understanding of metrology and process control systems.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Science) or related field.
- Significant experience in manufacturing optical components, particularly planar optical waveguides.
