Responsibilities
- Design and develop air vehicle structures, airframes, and mechanical systems from concept to production.
- Create lightweight, high-strength structural designs for airframes to meet specifications.
- Utilize CAD modeling, prototyping, and testing to validate and refine designs.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to optimize mechanical systems.
- Develop manufacturing processes for mechanical systems using various techniques.
- Assist in assembly, integration, and testing of mechanical components.
- Research new materials and manufacturing technologies for improved performance.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, especially with air vehicle structures.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and engineering analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of structural design, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing mechanical systems.
- Preferred experience with airframe systems and familiarity with defense standards.
- Knowledge of advanced materials and manufacturing methods.
