Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Engineering for manufacturability and design feedback through DFMA studies.
- Support product development phases from concept to full-scale manufacturing.
- Participate in prototype builds to validate manufacturability and lead tooling design.
- Optimize DFM and Assembly processes for cost-efficiency and quality.
- Conduct static and kinematic studies for efficient production workflows.
- Lead PFMEA, build sequence development, and process layout design.
- Provide production support engineering, including testing methods and failure analysis.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DFMA or manufacturing processes.
- Strong experience in precision assembly and automation equipment development.
- Proficiency in tolerance analysis for parts and assemblies.
- Knowledge of machine qualification requirements.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Working knowledge of GD&T principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
