Responsibilities
- Build multi-physics models (including CFD) for chemical kinetics and heat/mass transfer in electrified reactors.
- Apply multi-physics model learnings to design and optimize next-generation reactors and components.
- Collaborate with R&D engineers to analyze experimental data for developing kinetic models of proprietary catalysts.
- Provide model-based insights to support pilot testing for sustainable jet fuel production.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing an M.S. or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
- Strong fundamentals in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and numerical methods.
- Experience with CFD software (e.g., Ansys, COMSOL, OpenFOAM, STAR-CCM+).
- Experience analyzing experimental data.
- Familiarity with chemical reactor or kinetics modeling is a plus.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and tackle technical challenges.
