Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to improve product impact and market readiness.
- Brainstorm and evaluate new solutions for mechanical design challenges.
- Test ideas and designs through calculations, simulations, and physical tests.
- Design reliable and manufacturable parts and assemblies.
- Create drawings and specifications for parts.
- Define manufacturing processes and inspection methods.
- Communicate with part manufacturers to support prototypes and production.
Job Requirements
- Experience in mechanical design and 3D modeling software (e.g., Solidworks).
- Knowledge of 2D drawing creation and tolerancing (GD&T experience preferred).
- Basic skills in design analysis (Statics, Finite Element Analysis, etc.).
- Prototyping skills using various manufacturing techniques.
- Ability to manage communication with multiple suppliers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to generate detailed design documentation and provide feedback.
