Responsibilities
- Own the analysis of spending patterns and identify savings opportunities.
- Manage supplier relationships and act as the primary contact for key suppliers.
- Create RFQs/SOWs and develop sourcing recommendations based on cost, quality, and lead time.
- Negotiate commercial agreements to ensure long-term success.
- Manage supplier development timelines and address any delays.
- Drive cost optimization through supply chain consolidation and negotiations.
- Monitor market conditions and apply insights to sourcing strategies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in commodity management or supply chain management.
- In-depth experience sourcing components like Semiconductors or Electromechanicals.
- Experience in negotiating complex legal agreements.
- Ability to analyze data and create BI dashboards.
- Strong presentation skills for complex technology and business objectives.
- Confidence to challenge decisions that do not align with business objectives.
