Responsibilities
- Analyze spending patterns for savings opportunities and become a subject matter expert.
- Manage supplier relationships and act as the primary business contact for key suppliers.
- Create RFQs/SOWs, review quotations, and develop sourcing recommendations.
- Negotiate commercial agreements to ensure long-term success.
- Oversee supplier development and resolve issues related to part availability.
- Drive cost optimization through supply chain consolidation and strategic negotiations.
- Monitor industry conditions and develop sourcing strategies based on market insights.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in commodity management or supply chain management.
- In-depth experience sourcing components like Semiconductors or Electromechanicals.
- Proven track record in negotiating complex legal agreements.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams on technology roadmaps.
- Ability to analyze data and create management dashboards.
- Strong communication skills to present complex objectives clearly.
