Responsibilities
- Manage Restraints and Safety Direct Procurement across all vehicle programs.
- Collaborate with teams to evaluate and negotiate with potential suppliers.
- Create RFQs and negotiate contracts for parts pricing and tooling costs.
- Work with Engineering to release parts into production and manage purchase orders.
- Maintain supplier relationships and handle commercial issues.
- Achieve BOM cost reductions through negotiation and resourcing.
- Travel to suppliers to support performance-related matters.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, supply chain, or finance discipline; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Operations in Restraints & Safety.
- Extensive sourcing experience in automotive restraints commodities.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, ERP & P2P systems.
- Product launch experience and knowledge of quality principles preferred.
