Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis and design trade-off studies of electronics architecture and cost-effectiveness.
- Design, build, and test high-quality electronics hardware for automotive applications.
- Manage hardware development from specification to high-volume manufacturing.
- Generate and maintain BOM revision and variance documentation.
- Collaborate with mechanical, PCB layout, and firmware engineers for design validation.
- Perform worst-case analysis and DFMEA.
- Document design and development processes, including requirements and interface control documents.
Job Requirements
- Hands-on experience in electronics design.
- Strong background in low voltage digital and analog circuits.
- Familiarity with circuit simulation tools and PCB layout software (OrCAD preferred).
- Knowledge of ESD and surge power protection.
- Experience with high voltage handling and electromagnetic compatibility.
- Preferred hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and network analyzers.
