Responsibilities

  • Support DFM for new BiW and closures products.
  • Optimize processes using DFM during product design and equipment engineering.
  • Conduct high-level studies for proposed product designs, assessing CAPEX and OPEX impacts.
  • Drive technical efforts in complex equipment engineering development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on Body in White equipment specifications and engineering.
  • Utilize 3D modeling and simulations for equipment design validation.
  • Prepare and optimize Body in White equipment layouts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years in Body in White Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience with DFM and process design.
  • Proficiency in automotive Body in White equipment design.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Catia, and Delmia.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (40%).
