Responsibilities
- Support DFM for new BiW and closures products.
- Optimize processes using DFM during product design and equipment engineering.
- Conduct high-level studies for proposed product designs, assessing CAPEX and OPEX impacts.
- Drive technical efforts in complex equipment engineering development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on Body in White equipment specifications and engineering.
- Utilize 3D modeling and simulations for equipment design validation.
- Prepare and optimize Body in White equipment layouts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years in Body in White Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience with DFM and process design.
- Proficiency in automotive Body in White equipment design.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Catia, and Delmia.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (40%).
