Responsibilities
- Own technical projects related to interior components (Center Console, Instrument Panel, Door Trim).
- Apply data-driven decision making and teamwork to solve complex problems.
- Support engineers in data collection, analysis, and component/system design.
- Assist in project management and logistics, physical part testing, and validation.
- Engage in hands-on prototyping and support various duties for broader exposure.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Help root cause physical issues and design solutions using Catia 3DX.
Job Requirements
- Basic understanding of plastic and metal part manufacturing processes.
- Mechanically oriented mindset with an interest in how things work and are made.
- Hands-on experience in making parts or working with mechanical systems.
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in relevant fields (Mechanical Engineering, etc.).
- Experience with CAD design and manufacturing methods is preferred.
- Related work experience in a previous engineering internship is a plus.
- A DIY design portfolio showcasing scholastic and extracurricular projects is desirable.
