Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, production, assembly, and verification of the spacecraft's structure.
- Be the technical advocate through the product's lifecycle.
- Support systems/hardware integration, test planning, and execution.
- Lead nonconformance evaluations, failure investigations, and anomaly resolution boards for the spacecraft's structures components.
- Collaborate with team members across the program including systems engineering, CPEs/RSEs, test labs, manufacturing, quality, and NASA.
Job Requirements
- Experience in mechanical engineering, specifically related to spacecraft structures.
- Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management.
- Ability to support systems and hardware integration.
- Experience in test planning and execution.
- Skills in leading evaluations and investigations for nonconformance issues.
- Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with NASA standards and procedures is a plus.
