Mechanical Engineer Mid Career

The role is for a Mechanical Engineer in the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program, focusing on structural composites and secondary support within the Structures Mechanical Engineering group. The engineer will assist in developing requirements and designing structural components throughout the development and production lifecycle.

• Create and develop test plans with appropriate Integrated Product Teams (IPT)
• Lead efforts with subcontracts to identify potential suppliers for needed hardware and materials
• Provide technical inputs in required data products, proposals, and Technical Interchange Meetings
• Execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Create and communicate at various program reviews and meetings
• Effectively communicate with various levels of leadership, including Navy counterparts

• US citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
• Experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on structures
• Ability to develop and execute test plans
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with the development and production lifecycle of engineering projects
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic setting
