Responsibilities
- Direct cost, schedule, and technical planning for Future Interceptor development efforts.
- Partner with Production Operations and Development Engineering IPTs to transition products into production.
- Lead development activities and system-level customer reviews.
- Manage investigation teams and diagnose technical anomalies.
- Develop accurate Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for new business proposals.
- Expand the team’s technical capability through training and knowledge transfer initiatives.
- Manage employee development, performance reviews, and salary planning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Experience in mechanical design for development and production phases in aerospace or similar industries.
- Project Technical Lead experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software (PTC CREO or Solidworks preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- US citizenship required.
- Experience with manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
