Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and validate canopy system designs.
- Create and modify 3-D models, assemblies, and installations for primary and secondary structures.
- Generate system requirements, interface drawings, performance specifications, and trade studies.
- Provide technical engineering support for manufacturing, installation, and testing at Lockheed Martin and supplier facilities.
- Conduct trade studies and evaluate alternatives to optimize form, fit, and function of canopy systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical.
- Experience with 3DX, CATIA, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, NX, or equivalent CAD tool.
- Strong background in aerospace canopy design.
- Proficient in 3-D modeling and trade-study analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to special access facility.
