Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize materials for engineering applications.
- Conduct failure analyses, life predictions, and material property development.
- Create technical documentation and input for data packages and reviews.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product development and production operations.
- Develop and release engineering drawings and documents using Windchill.
- Analyze, research, and develop materials and surface treatments.
- Drive innovation in the aerospace industry.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Material Science or Materials Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in material manufacturing and testing processes.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
- Willingness to travel and work off-site as needed.
- Active Department of Defense SECRET clearance desired.
- Familiarity with evaluating and developing material specifications.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
