The role involves repairing and servicing desktop and laptop computers, printers, servers, and associated peripherals. It requires ensuring proper connectivity and user access to these devices and assisting technicians in repairs and configurations.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and service desktop and laptop computers, printers, and servers.
  • Assist in determining whether equipment needs replacement or module/component repairs.
  • Perform system upgrades and hardware reconfigurations.
  • Install and configure software and hardware as specified.
  • Respond to service requests and coordinate with clients on issues.
  • Complete administrative reports for repair processes.
  • Select appropriate tools and equipment for repair and maintenance.

Job Requirements

  • A+ certification and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.
  • AS degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in desktop and laptop repair.
  • Valid California Class C driver's license.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience in face-to-face interactions.
  • Knowledge of IT tools like Service Central and JITA.
  • HP warranty certification and Microsoft AA certification are desirable.
