Industrial Engineer Staff

The role is for a Central Strategic Industrial Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space, focusing on optimizing manufacturing processes and schedules using advanced engineering techniques and data analysis in a production environment.

• Apply advanced Industrial Engineering concepts to analyze business processes and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with facilities engineers for planning new production factories.
• Support Manufacturing Engineers in developing standards and analyzing shop performance.
• Generate production process simulations and perform analyses to identify capacity constraints.
• Interrogate data systems to surface problems and drive improvements.
• Oversee process improvement efforts ensuring implementation and sustainment.
• Provide occasional weekend or off-hour support as necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Project management experience.
• Experience in Quality, Production, Logistics, or similar fields.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
• Extensive knowledge of Capacity Planning in SAP/ERP.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly with Production Operations.
• Leadership experience and ability to manage conflict.
