Responsibilities
- Review models, drawings, and engineering work products for accuracy and compliance with program requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and manufacturing teams for design verification.
- Ensure the release of error-free and producible engineering designs.
- Communicate effectively with adjacent disciplines including design, electronics, and quality.
- Utilize experience with flight hardware and ground support equipment in design processes.
- Apply knowledge of tolerances and stack-up analysis in engineering tasks.
- Engage in hands-on hardware experience and additive manufacturing.
Job Requirements
- Experience with 3D design tools (e.g., CREO).
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management systems (e.g., EPDM).
- Knowledge of Mechanical Design Principles, including GD&T and ASME 14.5.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).
- Experience with model-based definition and design for manufacturability.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Hands-on experience with hardware and manufacturing processes.
