Responsibilities
- Work closely with engineers and manufacturing for design verification.
- Independently review models and drawings to ensure program requirements are met.
- Drive the release of accurate and producible engineering designs.
- Communicate effectively with adjacent disciplines.
- Utilize experience with flight hardware and ground support equipment.
- Apply model-based definition and hands-on hardware experience.
- Conduct additive manufacturing and tolerances analysis.
Job Requirements
- Experience in creating 3D designs (CREO or equivalent).
- Familiarity with Zuken designs and product lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of Electro/Mechanical Design Principles, GD&T, and ASME 14.5.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Hands-on hardware experience.
- Experience with tolerances and stack-up analysis.
