Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on thermal battery design, development, and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
- Perform failure analysis and develop recommendations for corrective actions.
- Review and approve engineering change requests, technical reports, and test procedures.
- Evaluate supplier proposals and non-conformances, providing recommendations for MRB dispositions.
- Collaborate with suppliers on new thermal battery designs and communicate with government customers to understand requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in thermal battery design, development, and testing.
- In-depth knowledge of thermal battery chemistry, materials, and production processes.
- Experience with thermal battery testing, performance characterization, and failure analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
