Responsibilities
- Perform aerodynamics analyses related to missile systems, emphasizing hypersonics and hydrodynamics.
- Create technical memos.
- Provide input to data packages for peer and customer reviews.
- Present analysis results to internal teams and customer representatives.
- Collaborate with Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) partners.
- Support the development of hypersonic operational prototypes.
- Work within a flexible schedule that includes remote work options.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Physics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience in modeling, simulation, analysis, or experimentation of high-speed aerodynamics for missile applications.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
- Experience with hypersonic aero/thermal and hydrodynamics.
- Proficiency in CFD software and large dataset post-processing.
- Software development skills in languages like Fortran, C, or Python.
- Experience with integrated system-level modeling and simulation.
