Responsibilities
- Develop ROS2 nodes, launch files, and message/service/action interfaces for transport workflows.
- Integrate physical robotic systems into the AISF environment.
- Build and maintain simulation environments in Isaac Sim and/or Gazebo.
- Debug hardware and software integration failures.
- Contribute expertise in motion planning, navigation, localization, or sensor fusion.
- Document configurations, failure modes, and operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the Next Gen Robotics team on ongoing projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience with ROS2 development.
- Understanding of robot kinematics.
- Proficiency in robotic simulation platforms like NVIDIA Isaac Sim and/or Gazebo.
- Experience with physical robots, including robotic arms and AMRs.
- Depth in motion planning, navigation, or perception.
- Bonus points for experience in deploying robotic systems and debugging hardware/software integration.
