Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers on tenant interior and core & shell projects.
- Perform design tasks and participate in surveys and construction field inspections.
- Review contractor shop drawings.
- Understand system design for tenant interior commercial projects and core and shell base building projects.
- Familiarize with HVAC load programs (for mechanical interns).
- Conduct electrical load calculations and lighting control design systems (for electrical interns).
- Assist in hydraulic calculations for sprinkler system design (for plumbing/fire protection interns).
Job Requirements
- Actively enrolled in an accredited engineering or related program.
- Demonstrated interest in engineering or engineering design.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, and/or Revit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- High attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn.
- No relocation or housing assistance available for this internship.
