Responsibilities
- Review existing as-built drawings and perform field investigations.
- Set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines.
- Collaborate with team members on design coordination, schedules, and deliverables.
- Perform energy calculations and develop single-line diagrams and load schedules.
- Design lighting selection, controls, and power systems.
- Conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies.
- Prepare construction estimates and specifications for small projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Familiarity with California Building Code and National Electrical Code.
- Experience with low voltage building systems is advantageous.
- LEED Accreditation and HCAI experience are pluses.
- Understanding of Net Zero Energy/Carbon concepts is beneficial.
