Responsibilities
- Assist in the commissioning of the new synchronous condenser by providing technical support.
- Oversee and optimize the performance of balance of plant systems (cooling, lubrication, electrical, HVAC, and control systems).
- Monitor the ongoing reliability of the synchronous condenser and associated systems.
- Investigate and analyze performance or failure issues related to synchronous condensers and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies for the synchronous condenser and balance of plant systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and performance optimization.
Job Requirements
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in reliability engineering focused on rotating machinery.
- Ability and willingness to travel to West Texas for construction and commissioning support.
- Hands-on experience with commissioning and troubleshooting synchronous condensers or similar machinery.
- Experience with balance of plant system maintenance and operations in relevant industries.
