Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of semiconductor plasma etch equipment.
- Design parts using various materials including metals, ceramics, and plastics.
- Ensure parts are manufacturable according to performance and cost objectives.
- Document designs in compliance with ANSI, SEMI, and Lam standards.
- Perform analytical work to characterize and specify designs, including heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate design performance.
- Present reports and design analyses at reviews.
Job Requirements
- Must be a well-rounded engineering student, preferably a sophomore or junior.
- Hands-on experience through club activities or labs is preferred.
- Preferred degrees include mechanical engineering, aero/astronautics engineering, chemical engineering, or materials science.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills are desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
