Responsibilities
- Support the full life cycle of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems from concept to productization.
- Design components using various materials including metals, ceramics, and plastics.
- Ensure documentation aligns with SEMI, Lam standards, and industry best practices for GD&T.
- Conduct detailed analyses such as FEA, thermal, and fluid dynamics to specify designs.
- Develop feasibility studies and test plans to validate design performance.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate design intent and validation.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams for high-quality, cost-optimized solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years, or a PhD without experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in 3D CAD tools like CREO, Siemens NX, and SolidWorks.
- Hands-on experimental and design background with solid engineering skills.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Experience in project management and problem-solving.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers.
