Responsibilities
- Perform detailed technical reviews of electrical design documents.
- Validate compliance with project performance requirements and applicable codes.
- Review electrical system layouts, including power distribution and emergency systems.
- Evaluate designs for energy efficiency and safety.
- Liaise between the Owner and design-builder’s electrical engineers.
- Collaborate with other engineering reviewers for system coordination.
- Participate in factory acceptance testing and site inspections.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical design with QA/QC experience.
- Expert knowledge of electrical systems and code compliance.
- Proficiency in software like AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong communication skills for presenting findings.
- Additional certifications (LEED, PMP) preferred.
