Responsibilities
- Design production tooling and test equipment for space component manufacturing.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering staff and procurement for cost estimates.
- Specify materials and hardware for tooling fabrication.
- Conduct design reviews and perform tolerance analysis.
- Lead special improvement projects focused on tooling optimization.
- Troubleshoot and modify tooling as issues arise.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a hands-on production environment.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software (Creo/NX).
- Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
- Tooling design experience in aerospace or high-reliability industries.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
