Responsibilities
- Responsible for research, development of layouts, and preparation of engineering drawings.
- Lead engineers in designing parts and assemblies for aircraft structure modifications.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders into designs and installation packages.
- Review and approve designs to support aircraft modification installations.
- Utilize CAD tools for mechanical design tasks across various aircraft platforms.
- Monitor delivery schedules, budgets, and project management aspects.
- Maintain communication and collaboration with various teams and departments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with four years of Mechanical Engineering experience in Aerospace, or a graduate degree with two years of experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight years of Mechanical Engineering experience in Aerospace.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Familiar with aircraft systems or structures and CAD software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance.
- Experience with project management and meeting delivery schedules.
