Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings for process planning.
- Take ownership of assigned product manufacturing processes.
- Understand product design and functionality to support manufacturing.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams.
- Develop user-friendly work instructions for technicians.
- Maintain process documentation and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide feedback on design for manufacturability and assembly.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
- Experience with manufacturing and assembly of space hardware.
- Proficiency in machining, GD&T, and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP.
- Experience with process optimization and lean manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
