Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer III will design new products that meet customer needs and requirements, following the New Product Development process, involving mechanical design and product reliability from concept to production release.

• Design parts, subassemblies, and subsystems using CAD systems.
• Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D models of engineering designs.
• Generate design documentation, including models, drawings, and testing reports.
• Manage CAD files and new part numbers using the PLM system.
• Collaborate with testing engineers to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Support project managers in adhering to timelines and cost objectives.
• Conduct and coordinate FMEA for new products under development.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5 or more years of related experience.
• Proficient in 2D/3D CAD design, preferably Inventor.
• Strong knowledge of technical drafting, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes for metals and plastics.
• Knowledge of mechanical properties of common materials and design principles.
• Ability to create and maintain BOMs and detailed spreadsheets.
