Electrical Engineer

The role is for an Electrical Engineer with experience in neural signal processing, focusing on FPGA programming and bioelectrical signals. The candidate should have strong embedded firmware skills and be a team player with leadership abilities.

• Lead and oversee the design of all electronic hardware.
• Contribute to developing control and computation concepts with bio hardware.
• Contribute to overall system integration.
• Guide neurogrammers within outreach programs and maintain academic connections.
• Identify supply chains and mitigate potential bottlenecks.
• Communicate with the CEO regarding hiring, product development, and market strategy.
• Report directly to the CEO.

• 3-5 years of hands-on design experience with FPGA or high-performance hardware.
• Experience with bio signal amplification and conditioning on FPGA.
• Knowledge of control theory is desired but not mandatory.
• Experience with micro fluidics, MEMS, and/or micro optics is a plus.
• Must conform to ITAR regulations (U.S. citizenship or equivalent required).
• Strong skills in embedded firmware applications (C/C++, Python, Matlab, Java).
• Proven team player with leadership skills.
