Responsibilities
- Produce PCB designs and schematics, collaborating with layout engineers.
- Work closely with FPGA and firmware engineers to test full PCB systems.
- Develop electrical system designs while coordinating with mechanical engineers.
- Design power distribution and interconnection diagrams.
- Ensure designs meet safety requirements and are easily serviceable.
- Familiarity with AC power distribution and programmable logic controllers.
- Communicate effectively within cross-disciplinary teams.
Job Requirements
- Master’s Level Degree with 0 years of related work experience or Bachelor’s Level Degree with 2 years of related work experience.
- Experience with PCB design software (OrCAD, Altium, PADS, Eagle).
- Knowledge of electronic blocks (power supply regulators, op-amps, ADCs/DACs).
- Familiarity with simulation tools (ADS, Hyperlynx) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work on cross-disciplinary teams.
- Experience with safety interlocks and networking cabling is desired.
