Responsibilities
- Lead and expand the engineering workgroup aligned with Metro’s vision.
- Develop and mentor a skilled team to meet current and future needs.
- Manage junior engineers and provide expertise in electrical engineering.
- Review and approve designs and calculations from the team.
- Foster a collaborative team environment valuing diverse perspectives.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to advocate for the team.
- Oversee project workloads and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical design engineering.
- Supervisory experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Proficiency in electrical design tools and the National Electric Code.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate technical concepts.
- Valid WA driver’s license or ability to travel to various locations.
