Responsibilities
- Evaluate and apply engineering techniques and standards to projects.
- Perform intermediate complexity engineering designs, including analysis and equipment selection.
- Develop mechanical piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) for power plant systems.
- Prepare sizing calculations and specifications for major equipment.
- Check design deliverables according to industry codes and standards.
- Prepare requisite mechanical documentation for construction.
- Coordinate with drafters, designers, and engineers, and manage multiple engineering tasks.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- PE license preferred, but not required.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and excellence.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
