Responsibilities
- Perform system expansion and improvement projects, including system protection and coordination.
- Develop and maintain complex computer models of the electric delivery system.
- Conduct power flow studies using CYME or equivalent software.
- Prepare cost-effective system expansion plans.
- Communicate detailed documentation and plans effectively.
- Manage multiple projects while ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Incorporate safety into the design and operation of all projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
- EIT with the ability to become registered PE.
- 5+ years of relevant electric utility experience.
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of electric utility rules and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Preferred experience in distribution planning and design.
