Responsibilities
- Perform system expansion and improvement projects, including voltage analyses and power quality studies.
- Develop and maintain complex computer models of the electric delivery system.
- Conduct power flow studies using CYME or equivalent software.
- Prepare cost-effective system expansion plans.
- Communicate detailed documentation and plans effectively with other work groups.
- Manage multiple projects while ensuring work quality and reliability.
- Develop new processes and tools for analyzing the electric system.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
- EIT with the ability to become registered PE.
- 5+ years of electric utility experience.
- Strong technical decision-making and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of electric utility rules and regulatory requirements.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Preferred experience in distribution planning and automation scripting.
