Responsibilities
- Collaborate with electrical/mechanical engineers and Field Service representatives to resolve dealer/customer concerns on vehicles.
- Provide service-related feedback into new product development processes.
- Ensure serviceability and reliability standards are met and exceeded.
- Manage corrective action flows for field feedback to engineering groups.
- Identify and report field defects for new product infant care.
- Communicate effectively about concerns and corrective actions.
- Analyze hardware and firmware designs and support cross-divisional collaboration.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program (Electrical, Automotive, Mechanical).
- Junior or senior standing preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Failure Reporting and Corrective Action Systems.
- Moderate abilities in data analysis software.
- Understanding of electrical/electronic systems in heavy-duty truck applications.
