Responsibilities
- Enhances robot performance by tuning control systems.
- Generates and executes reliability test plans.
- Conducts functional and reliability testing on robots and controllers.
- Performs firmware regression testing and collaborates with software engineering to resolve issues.
- Designs and sets up test equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
- Collects test data, analyzes results, and presents findings.
- Initiates continuous improvement projects and implements lean practices in the lab.
Job Requirements
- Understanding of mechanical systems and general engineering concepts.
- Basic skills in scripting and programming in Python, C++, or Matlab.
- Proficient with instrumentation and data collection tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Background in robotics and/or semiconductor equipment preferred.
- B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
