Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of control systems for the test reactor.
- Support measurement instrumentation and automated digital system process control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of control systems.
- Participate in troubleshooting and optimizing control systems to enhance performance.
- Perform data collection, analysis, and documentation to support project needs.
- Contribute to the preparation and review of technical reports and presentations.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry trends.
Job Requirements
- Current student pursuing a B.S, M.S, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Demonstrated application of technical skills outside of the classroom through laboratory, research, extracurricular projects, or prior internship/work experience.
- Experience with control system software (LabVIEW, PLCs, etc.).
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Self-starter with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in an integrated collaborative team environment.
