Responsibilities
- Develop CFD models of high-temperature test systems.
- Perform validation of CFD with experimental data.
- Collaborate with engineers in data production and post-processing.
- Recommend improvements to CFD modeling methodologies.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for data analysis.
- Present findings through technical documents and presentations.
- Collaborate with various teams on results and methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in BS, MS, or PhD program in Nuclear or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with analytical and CFD tools for fluid and heat transfer analyses.
- 2+ years using commercial CFD tools, preferably Siemens STAR-CCM+.
- Familiarity with Solidworks or STAR-CCM+ 3D CAD.
- Programming/scripting experience for automation.
- Coursework or experience in heat transfer and fluid mechanics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
