Responsibilities
- Design and develop robotic capital hardware for surgical environments.
- Iterate on proof-of-concept prototypes and implement commercial design solutions.
- Provide design recommendations on engineering tests and products.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop technologies for human-robot interaction.
- Participate in design reviews and multi-functional discussions.
- Engage in clinical procedure labs and procedural development activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience in mechanical hardware development.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience in designing robotic hardware solutions.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software, including creating models and detailed drawings.
- Preferred experience in the Robotic or Medical Device industry.
